Grasmere's central position in the Lake District makes it the ideal place from which to explore the whole region, yet some of the area's most breathtaking scenery and fascinating attractions are right on the doorstep.

There are plenty of maps and leaflets about local places of interest at the hotel and we are always happy to help guests to plan their day, whether browsing around the many craft shops and antique shops or venturing out into the highest mountains.
